Full Cycle Accounting Pty Ltd (ABN 20 612 411 431) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information I collect, why, how I look after it, and how you can access or correct it. I handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles, and, for tax file numbers, the Privacy (Tax File Number) Rule 2015.
When you contact me through this website, by email or by phone, I collect the details you give me, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name and the reason you're getting in touch. If you become a client, I also collect the information needed to provide accounting, tax and advisory services, which can include financial records, tax file numbers, employee and payroll details, and identity documents.
When you visit the website, basic technical information may be collected automatically, such as your browser type, the pages you view and an approximate location. This is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used.
I use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide and bill for services, meet my legal and professional obligations (including those as a registered tax agent), and send you updates you've asked for. I don't sell your personal information, and I don't use it for purposes you wouldn't reasonably expect.
I only share personal information where it's needed to provide the service or where the law requires it. This can include the Australian Taxation Office and other government agencies, the software providers I use to run the practice (for example, cloud accounting and practice management software), and other advisers you've asked me to work with. Some of these providers store data outside Australia. Where that happens, I take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
I only collect, use or disclose tax file numbers for purposes permitted by tax, superannuation and personal assistance law, and I store them securely. Please don't send your TFN through the website enquiry form.
Information is held in secure, access-controlled systems. I keep records for as long as professional and legal record-keeping obligations require, then destroy or de-identify them.
This website may use cookies and similar technology to keep the site working and to measure how it's used. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, or ask me to correct it, by emailing info@fullcycleaccounting.com.au. I'll respond within 30 days. If I can't give you access, I'll explain why.
If you're concerned about how I've handled your personal information, please email me first and I'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
